Hello!
My name is Melissa Plamann. I was born and raised in Minnesota. I am one of 4 children and growing up my mom was always taking pictures of us children. From a young age I have always enjoyed being behind the camera, or in front of it. I have a degree in Exercise Science from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD. While completing my degree I had the opportunity to work with some amazing photographers being their second shooter for weddings in the Midwest area. I have always had a love for photography. When I was second shooting I really developed a passion for capturing the candid moments of the children dancing, families interacting, and the small intricate details.
Each picture taken shows a different emotion and my style is capturing the candid moments and interactions between people. Every picture taken is only a moment in time, but that moment lasts a lifetime.
